Dropspot uses notifications to communicate platform event information. This guide provides an overview of the type of notifications that can be set, where they appear, and their available features.
Dropspot Notification Preferences
Dropspot allows notifications to be enabled from your account settings. Follow these steps to personalise the notifications you'd like to receive.
From your account profile, click the three-dot menu and select Settings.
Select Notifications and personalise according to your preferences.
Channel: select whether you would like to receive notifications via your Twitter and/or Discord accounts.
Notifications: select which events you would like to receive notifications for.
Currently, you can change notification settings for:
Sold Items
Offers
Future notifications will include:
Price Changes
Successful Purchases
Expiring Auctions
Getting Outbid
Feature Updates
Note: You can also set your notification preferences via the Notifications icon and selecting the Settings icon.
Dropspot Notification Channels
Notifications appear in different locations and formats. By default, all notifications received will appear within the Dropspot platform, with the notification icon indicating new notifications. Clicking on the notification icon will allow you to view the notifications and subsequently dismiss or act upon these notifications.
Your notification setting preferences will also determine if you receive these notifications via Twitter, Discord or both.
