Learn how to set up your account on Dropspot and start your NFT adventure!
Key Items
Before you can begin your NFT adventure, you'll need 3 key items:
Wallet - For a user to create and sell NFT's, it is essential to have a cryptocurrency wallet to login to Dropspot, facilitate these transactions, and view all your NFT's.
Digital Currency (ADA) - The currency, ADA, to make transactions. You can obtain ADA from popular crypto-exchanges. Note: As a Creator, you don't need ADA to create, mint and list your collection, as Dropspot will cover the blockchain minting fees free of cost.
Dropspot Account - Connect your wallet to Dropspot and customise and verify your profile to start buying, selling and creating on Dropspot!
1. Wallet
To create and sell NFT's, it is essential to have a cryptocurrency wallet to facilitate these transactions and store your NFT's. Compatible wallets, store your digital currency and NFT creations. They also allow you to interact with the Cardano blockchain, enabling you to process transactions and monitor your balance.

2. Digital Currency
The digital currency ADA, is required to purchase NFT's on Dropspot. You can obtain ADA from popular crypto-exchanges such as Crypto.com and Coinspot.
Note: As a Creator, you don't need ADA to create, mint and list your collection, as Dropspot will absorb the blockchain minting fees, free of cost.

3. Dropspot Account
To connect your wallet to Dropspot and create an account, follow these simple steps below:
Click on 'Connect Wallet' and select from a list of compatible Cardano wallets. Note: If you do not have an installed wallet, you will be prompted to do so. Please ensure you refresh your browser to allow you to connect using your newly installed wallet.
Click on 'Sign' to connect with your wallet.
Enter your password and click on 'Confirm'.
Once you have successfully signed in, you can also choose to become a Creator on Dropspot.
4. Become a Creator
If you wish to create, mint and list a collection on Dropspot and are already invited, click on 'Already Invited' and access our Creator Launchpad. To obtain access, select 'Get Launchpad Access' and our team will contact you after you have submitted your creator access request.
Step 1: Enter your details
Tell us a bit about yourself and your life story. Your Display Name will be presented with your profile and used to generate your personal profile address.
Click on 'Next' to progress.
Step 2: Add a profile photo
Upload a photo that represents you and your brand. Remember, first impressions are important. 😄
Click on 'Next' to progress.
Step 3: Verify your account
Verify your account using either your Mobile Phone Number, Twitter or Instagram profiles and we will match this against our invitation list. If you've been invited, you will be automatically provided your creator super powers and can start your collection right away. If we cannot find an approved invite matching your profile, please raise a request for Creator Launchpad access and we will assist you through the invite process.
Click on 'Next' to progress.
Step 4: Acknowledge terms
After successfully verifying your profile, review our Terms of Service and accept the Dropspot agreement to unlock your Creator powers. 😃
That's it! You can now start creating your NFT collection. 😄
Note: As a Creator or Buyer, you can also optionally personalise your profile further by including a link to your website and adding credibility by linking to your socials. To personalise your profile further, click on your account in the top right hand corner of the screen and select Profile.
