What is an NFT?

Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) are unique and represent ownership of a particular file or item, such as artwork, videos, music, game assets, sports collectibles and even real estate. An NFT is secured and stored on the public blockchain.

NFTs are more than a new way to sell art, they can secure ownership of digital assets, offer access to new communities, and even be used to represent ownership of real life items.

  5. To customise your NFT further, describe your creation. Identify if this NFT is a physical-first or digital-first creation.

  6. Category tags or attributes help others understand more about the source artwork for your NFT. This information will be associated and minted into the token itself. You can optionally choose to skip this step.

  7. Grant rights and conditions to the holder by adding a Creative Commons (CC) license to your work. Creative Commons licences provide a standardized way to give the public permission to share and use your creative work β€” on conditions of your choice.

  8. Price your NFT using the native Cardano token ADA.

Once you're done pricing your NFT, click 'Done'. Congratulations, you've just created your first NFT! πŸ˜ƒ
